1. Since I released my EP, I've gained about 800 plays on my SoundCloud and roughly 150 on Spotify. Initially, Candle Wax was doing poorly, barely raking in any plays. However, I looked up how to promote music and I took advice from different people and I feel like I've been doing a better job promoting and that has contributed to the rather steady growth in numbers on the EP.

2. I've decided to stop doing EPs though. I've noticed that my singles do far better than my EPs merely because the singles are just one song while the EPs have 4-5 songs. People just don't want to give up that much time.

3. Today, I produced some more beats and worked on some more ideas for upcoming singles I want to release. I finished one beat and should be releasing it next week. Carlos is also producing a beat for me.

1. I continued working on my thesis paper. I believe it's coming along pretty well. I'm about five pages in. I'm going to ask Mr. Correa to proof read it. 2. I also was contacted by a booking agency to perform a show on April 27th. However, it was in Forth Worth on a Friday night at around 11 pm. I declined because I don't think a lot of my peers would drive roughly 40 minutes to go see me perform that late at night. Luckily, the agent asked if I was available May 18th. I accepted this offer although its the same night as Townview prom. Most of my friends aren't even going to that so I decided to take it!

1. I decided to create a Hip-Hop album for my thesis. I got the idea from Obasi Shaw, a Harvard student who created an album for his Senior Thesis. I want to talk about social injustice our country/the world faces (race, religion, sexual orientation) in the songs from the album. I also want to touch on my own hardships not only facing these injustices, but also my struggles throughout life in general. 2. I started making the first track for the album.
