1. AYEEEEEE. The song I posted two classes ago hit 1000+ plays today. I've been doing a lot of online promoting and I feel like it has been paying off.

2. I continued collaborating with Carlos during class. We are finalizing songs for the Black Panther EP. We spent the class showing each other beats that we had made and we bounced ideas off each other. We're still thinking of doing roughly 4 songs for the EP.

1. I continued working on my thesis paper. I believe it's coming along pretty well. I'm about five pages in. I'm going to ask Mr. Correa to proof read it. 2. I also was contacted by a booking agency to perform a show on April 27th. However, it was in Forth Worth on a Friday night at around 11 pm. I declined because I don't think a lot of my peers would drive roughly 40 minutes to go see me perform that late at night. Luckily, the agent asked if I was available May 18th. I accepted this offer although its the same night as Townview prom. Most of my friends aren't even going to that so I decided to take it!

1. I decided to create a Hip-Hop album for my thesis. I got the idea from Obasi Shaw, a Harvard student who created an album for his Senior Thesis. I want to talk about social injustice our country/the world faces (race, religion, sexual orientation) in the songs from the album. I also want to touch on my own hardships not only facing these injustices, but also my struggles throughout life in general. 2. I started making the first track for the album. 1. I did half of the application for UC schools to then realize I don't want to do all that work because I probably won't go there even if I get in. That wasted a lot of time :) (40 min) 2. Then I removed 6 out of the 14 too many words I had on my common app essay. (15 minutes) 3. Finished Common App (20 min) 4. Started essays for Seattle University (Rest of class)
